Marjorie A. Rogers will give two presentations at the upcoming seminar on Tax Exempt Organizations from Start to Finish sponsored by National Business Institute (NBI) at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque on May 9, 2012. Marjorie's topics are Unrelated Business Taxable Income and Form 990: Key Compliance Points and Disclosure Consideration. This seminar will provide an orientation on the legal and tax nuts and bolts of exempt organizations for attorneys, in-house counsel, accountants, and directors and officers of non-profit organizations.
Marjorie represents businesses, tax-exempt organizations and individuals in the areas of federal taxation, estate planning and administration, including probate litigation, employee benefits and ERISA. She has more than thirty years of experience advising clients on their complex tax issues, wills, trusts, family succession plans, retirement plans and business entity planning.
Marjorie is shareholder and Chair of the firm's Non-Profit Industry Service Group and the firm's Taxation practice group. She has been listed in Best Lawyers of America® since 2003 and she is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
