Sonya Burke is an associate in the firm's Litigation group. Her legal interests include construction and products liability litigation. She is currently assisting with construction and design cases, employment matters including EEOC investigations, and breach of contract litigation.

Sonya received her law degree from Boston University School of Law, where she served as the Administrative Editor of the BU Public Interest Law Journal in addition to representing indigent defendants through the BU Criminal Clinic.  She received her undergraduate degree in English, with a French minor, from the University of Texas at Austin. Sonya studied abroad in the French university system through Columbia University in Paris while attending Tulane University. After Hurricane Katrina, she transferred to the University of Texas.

Sonya enjoys traveling, skiing, heading outdoors with fellow Modrall Sperling attorneys, and spending time with her dogs, Donkey and Oliver.
