Modrall Sperling Hires Six New Associates for the Albuquerque Office
Modrall Sperling has hired six new associates: Jennifer L. Bradfute, Katherine M. Creagan, Jeremy K. Harrison, Jason J. Rudd, Elizabeth A. Martinez and Sarah M. Stevenson.
Jennifer Bradfute will practice in the areas of Natural Resources, Litigation and Indian Law. She received her law degree from George Mason School of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy and was selected as a Steel Scholar in Business Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern New Mexico University, where she served as Student Body President. She was listed on the Dean’s List for all four years and received the Myrtle Moore Women in Business Scholarship.
Katherine Creagan will practice in the area of Public Finance and is a member of the Transaction Department at Modrall Sperling. She received her undergraduate degree in finance summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated cum laude from Arizona State University where she received her law degree. During law school, she served as a Casenote and Comment Editor for the Law Journal.
Jeremy Harrison will focus his practice on civil litigation for local and national businesses, governmental entities, and local public schools. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law, he spent two years clerking for the Honorable Judge Cynthia A. Fry of the New Mexico Court of Appeals, gaining valuable experience on civil litigation and appellate processes. Following that clerkship, Harrison spent another year clerking for the Honorable Judge James A. Parker of the United States District Court, District of New Mexico. Harrison is an active participant with the Second Judicial District Volunteer Attorney Project and provides pro bono services to New Mexico residents.
Elizabeth Martinez begins her practice of law in the litigation practice group. Prior to joining Modrall Sperling, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond M. Kethledge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a Clarence Darrow Scholar and a contributing editor for the Michigan Law Review. Martinez received her undergraduate degree in English, magna cum laude with highest honors, from Harvard University. Before attending law school, she received a M.F.A. in poetry and taught undergraduate writing classes at the University of Michigan.
Jason Rudd practices in the litigation, torts, personal injury and education practice areas. He received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as Submissions Editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review. His undergraduate degree is in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
Sarah Stevenson will begin her practice of law in the litigation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Patricio M. Serna of the New Mexico Supreme Court for two years. She graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University of Law, where she was a Crowley Scholar in International Human Rights. While at Fordham, Stevenson externed at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern Division of New York, Civil Division, and participated in the International Human Rights Clinic. She has a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Scripps College.
