Michelle Hernandez Becomes Chair of Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce
Effective November 17, 2017, Michelle Hernandez, a shareholder with Modrall Sperling, has become the new Chair of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce. She has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2013, serving as the Executive Committee’s Vice Chair since 2016.
Michelle is also currently Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association, where she has been a member since 1997. She worked closely with the HNBA and the Hispano Chamber recently to book a large conference in Albuquerque, set for 2019.
The Hispano Chamber’s mission is to promote economic development, to enhance economic opportunities and to provide business and workforce education with an emphasis on the Hispanic and small business community in Albuquerque and New Mexico.
“I am honored to have been elected to work with this organization,” she said. “I truly believe in the Chamber’s mission. I am excited to help small businesses scale and reach their dreams. We have found that most people are just one connection away from realizing their dreams.”
Michelle is a member of Modrall Sperling’s litigation department and among only a handful of New Mexico attorneys recognized as Board Certified Health Law Specialists.
