Please join the ICC International Court of Arbitration® and ICC USA/United States Council for International Business (USCIB) for a lunch program on international arbitration in New Mexico.

Description

This luncheon program is ideal for anyone who does business internationally and would like to learn more about international arbitration and international dispute resolution, generally. The program will include particular focus on arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the ICC International Court of Arbitration®. Topics will include:

  • Why companies should consider providing for international arbitration in international contracts;
  • Key points to include in contracts that provide for international arbitration—for example, to help save time and costs and to ensure that the arbitral award is enforceable;
  • Unique features of ICC arbitration and the latest news from the ICC Court;
  • Avoiding common mistakes in international arbitration.

This event is open to the public, including local attorneys, in-house counsel, government attorneys, UNM faculty, staff, and students, and community members. 1.5 hours of MCLE credit from the State Bar of New Mexico. Registration fee is $10.
