Modrall Sperling Welcomes New Executive Director Scott D. Cocker
Modrall Sperling is pleased to welcome our new Executive Director, Scott Cocker, to the firm. Scott has extensive experience in the field of law firm management, having worked at several prominent law firms in the United States. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington, Scott was an administrative director at Perkins Coie in Seattle. Scott held several different roles at the firm, one of which involved managing the firm’s offices in China. Later, Scott worked as a director at the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton, serving in the firm’s New York City headquarters and later managing the firm’s office in Washington, DC. During his career, Scott has also worked with smaller firms and legal-related nonprofits, including the New York Council of Defense Lawyers.
