Overview
During her more than two decades as an attorney, Shannon Nairn has handled a broad array of legal issues. For fifteen years, Shannon worked for the federal courts: first, as a bankruptcy appellate law clerk, for the Honorable Judge McFeeley, Presiding Judge of the 10th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and then, as a district court law clerk for the Honorable James Parker, Senior United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico.
In addition to her experience with the federal courts, Shannon spent some time as a contract attorney for the Assistant United States Attorney’s office where she focused on criminal matters.
Prior to that, as an independent contract attorney, Shannon handled a variety of legal issues. She provided consulting services to medical practices, advising them on contractual matters, privacy concerns, and compliance issues. She assisted local attorneys on many areas of the law, including among others, Indian housing issues, criminal matters, and appellate briefs.
In her spare time, Shannon created a continuing education class for Internet Assets, which subsequently became an article for the magazine, Los Angeles Lawyer.
