Overview
Jeremy Harrison’s practice is focused on civil litigation for local and national businesses. His experience includes defending clients involved in tort and personal injury matters, employment disputes, toxic torts, and other areas of civil litigation. Jeremy’s experience includes procurement disputes and bid protests, litigation of contract disputes, and a wide range of commercial litigation. In addition to representation of clients actively involved in litigation, Jeremy’s practice also involves providing advice to clients to help prevent future litigation, investigating employment discrimination and retaliation claims, and assisting clients with disputes over government contracting.
Jeremy has experience in state and federal court litigation, trial experience in state and federal court, and knowledge of federal practice and procedure in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico and of appellate practice in the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jeremy has represented clients in courts throughout New Mexico, as well as in administrative proceedings. Jeremy has been selected as a Southwest Rising Star by Southwest Super Lawyers® and is listed in Best Lawyers in America® for his work in Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants, and Product Liability – Defendants. He is listed as a Litigation Star in Benchmark Litigation, The Definitive Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2008, Jeremy spent two years clerking for the Honorable Judge Cynthia A. Fry on the New Mexico Court of Appeals, gaining valuable experience on civil litigation and the appellate process. Following that clerkship, Jeremy spent another year clerking for the Honorable Judge James A. Parker in the United States District Court, District of New Mexico where Jeremy was exposed to a wide variety of civil matters and gained experience with federal practice and procedure.
Jeremy is Chair of the Tort/Product Liability/Class Action Practice Group and Chair of the firm’s Technology Committee.
