Overview
Ryan Sanchez is an associate in the firm’s Transactions Department, where he focuses on estate planning and taxation.
Ryan earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, he worked as a research assistant, served on the New Mexico Law Review, and was a member of the National Environmental Law Moot Court team. He also completed an externship with Justice Julie J. Vargas at the New Mexico Supreme Court. Upon graduation, Ryan received the Faculty Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the law school community.
Before attending law school, Ryan earned his undergraduate degree in biology and his Master of Public Health, concentration in epidemiology, both from the University of New Mexico. He began his career in the nonprofit sector and state government.
Prior to joining Modrall Sperling, Ryan served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Megan P. Duffy at the New Mexico Court of Appeals.
When he is not practicing law, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, trying new foods, and watching any and all sports.
