Overview
Modrall Sperling’s team works with developers, natural resources companies, including those in oil, gas, and mining, ranching and agriculture, and manufacturers, as well as wind and solar developers. We have experience with the federal Clean Air Act, as well as New Mexico law governing air quality. Our experience includes construction and operations permitting, attainment issues, regional haze proceedings, emerging issues relating to greenhouse gasses and climate change, and regulatory developments within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Congress, and the New Mexico Air Quality Bureau.
We are national leaders in addressing regulation of air quality in and around Native American lands. Our team includes regulatory and litigation lawyers with broad experience to assist you from permitting your project or expansion, through litigation, and on-going compliance with your permit’s terms and the complex statutory and regulatory schemes governing the permit.
